ZTE Small Fresh 4 brings another budget spec-buster

It was at “3” last year, as far as we know. Now, ZTE is moving this weirdly-branded line of budget phone to “4”.

The company has launched the Small Fresh 4 in China. It has a MediaTek MT6753 (eight cores running at 1.3GHz), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage (expandable with a microSD card by up to 64GB) and a 5.2-inch full HD LCD with 2.5D pooling glass on the front. The 5-megapixel selfie cam supposedly has some crazy glass in front of it, giving it a 160-degree field of view. There’s a 13-megapixel rear camera, too. All of this and a fingerprint sensor on Android Marshmallow with MiFavor 3.5 and a 2,540mAh battery keeping the lights on. By the way, it’s 7.5mm thin.

The phone’s in Gold, Silver and a Rose Gold for ¥1,090 ($163). It’s expected to be out in other non-US markets as part of the Blade X family of phones. The Blade A2 can get you something like this phone for cheaper, though.

Yes, there are four of these little things out there.
