With the pre-orders over and done with, sales have been rapid-fire fast for the Nubia Z11. A million buyers registered to buy the thing, but only 250,000 got theirs on July 6. Ni Fei, co-founder of the ZTE subsidiary, said that the company’s working hard on getting its next batch of devices ready for July 13.

Meanwhile on the mothership, ZTE is expecting to triple its sales in Thailand this year to 900,000 units. Not bad, considering that the name’s only been known in the country since 2014. It’s brought the company up to number six in sales, but still faces challenges from the typical crew — Huwaei and Samsung, namely.

We’ll have to see when ZTE continues its jive stateside if it can find success with its strategy.
