Samsung’s Galaxy Note II is the gold standard when it comes to phablets, so of course we had to compare it against ZTE’s new 5.7-incher, the Grand Memo.

While the Grand Memo’s screen isn’t that much bigger than the Note II’s the handset itself is noticeably taller. ZTE goes with a higher-resolution camera than the Note II’s, but you pay for that with a much larger camera bulge.

ZTE may get around to releasing a stylus, but even if it does, it won’t have the high-precision Wacom digitizer used by the Note II, nor will there be a convenient place to store it on the phone itself.
