Sources in China reported that ZTE was planning on launching the Axon 7 at the same price it did so for the Axon Pro last year — $450.

Well, it’s been a day over two months since we learned of this quite impressive phone. The pre-order period is over and done with in the US and sales have officially begun at the price of $399.98.

Yep, the phone is keeping its pre-order pricing which means that it’s only 98 cents more expensive than a OnePlus 3 and the Alcatel Idol 4S.

It’s still available at the places you’ll find below. Newegg is attaching free headphones with a pre-order through August 15. B&H is also offering headphones and an in-store gift card up through August 17. Shipping for the Quartz Gray version will start August 17 while the Ion Gold version is out September 9.
