SONY Xperia Z5 Premium first impressions: expensive bragging rights (Video)

When Sony announced the Xperia Z5 Premium, which is indeed the “world’s first 4K smartphone”, we were not quite sure what to believe, but we were definitely excited. As days and weeks passed, we soon learned (and later, from Sony, officially), that, while this is indeed a 4K screen, the Xperia Z5 Premium isn’t a 4K smartphone for most of the time you’re using it.

Built on its predecessor, the Xperia Z3+ (Xperia Z4), the Xperia Z5 Premium doesn’t bring a lot of improvements to the table. Yes, there’s that 4K screen and the fingerprint scanner, but, aside from those (and the silver chrome finish for a mirror-like look on the back), not much is new.

In this video we not only unbox the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, but we also tell you our first impressions, what we like, and what we don’t, at a first glance.

Of course, we’ll have a lot more on the Xperia Z5 Premium in the coming days and weeks, including our full review, but, until then, check out our first impressions video embedded below. …and, if you want to get yourself an Xperia Z5 Premium of your own, you can pay our friends from Clove a visit.
