A break from the downtrodden developments today to tell you about a mid-range Xiaomi device.

Hey, we thought we’re all hardware fans here?

Well, the so-called “Redmi 4” is making the rounds on Geekbench, sporting Android Marshmallow, a Snapdragon 625 and 3GB of RAM. It scores a 929 in single-core tests and 4,751 in multi-core tests, which isn’t too bad in itself and a big improvement over all the variants of the Redmi 3. And all of those phones were introduced in the front half of the year.

The counter keeps up and so does Xiaomi.
