Xiaomi’s second nifty and cheap fitness band will have to wait a bit longer before it gets officially released. That’s according to Huang Wang, CEO of Xiaomi-associated Huami.

Responding to a netizen’s question on when and how the Mi Band 2 will be sold, Wang said that mass-production process has been pretty stressful and that there isn’t enough inventory to put out for proper sales.

He didn’t give a timeline, but we assume that we should have to wait a little while before stock gets to where it needs to be.
