World of Warcraft Coming to Android?

By Joe Levi December 2, 2010, 4:07 pm

World of Warcraft has been one of the most popular online, multi-player games the world has ever seen. It's incredibly addicting, and has even lead to the deaths of some who couldn't tear themselves away from the game.

Soon, that same addition will be available on your Android-powered phone! Using a "streamlined UI overlay" to make the game a bit more touch-friendly, GameStrings has a somewhat laggy, and still very buggy way to play WoW on an Android. Well, maybe it's not WoW on Android per se, but it's close. GameStrings basically lets you run games on a host machine and stream that experience to a mobile device. While this has its down-sides, it's still very cool to see the gameplay in action.
