Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Still Lives: The Verizon LG Fathom (Update: Video)

This very well may be the last legacy Windows Mobile device we see released before Windows Phone 7 comes out in the fall. The Verizon LG Fathom runs Windows Mobile 6.5.3 and is world-phone capable. It’s features a side-sliding QWERTY keypad with four rows of keys, and overall the device looks similar to the LG Ally (which runs Android). The 3.2″ resistive touschscreen is WVGA 800×480 resolution. It looks like LG has done nothing to customize the interface, which is fine by us since many interfaces tend to slow down a device anyhow.
