Microsoft starts Windows 10 update roll-out

Some users out there were luckier than others, as Microsoft has started rolling out the Windows 10 update slightly earlier to them. There’s no need to be jealous at all, because your free Windows 10 upgrade is already on its way. If you have a PC running Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, the upgrade should be available for you as we speak. However, not all machines that are eligible will get the update instantly, but you will not be left out.

After nine months of beta testing, Windows 10 is ready for mainstream. If you have registered to get the update from your taskbar, you will be notified when Windows 10 is ready to be installed. Once up and running, expect to see a brand Start Menu, Cortana integration, the new Microsoft Edge browser, built-in Xbox capabilities (the Xbox app and Xbox One game streaming), as well as a cornucopia of new built-in apps.

Have you already received your update yet? According to reports, it should be available starting Midnight (that’s 00:00) on July 29 in each country.
