Windows 10 RTM may reach partners later this week

Microsoft has been on a roll with Windows 10 updates, as we approach the final release date of the computer version on July 29. Just last week we saw Redmond launch a crazy three builds of the OS with minor bug fixes and improvements, something very odd for Microsoft. What’s important is that these last builds seem to be some of the final touches that the OS needed, as we now get close to an RTM build.

Sources familiar to the matter claim that Windows 10 RTM should be ready early this week. The source mentions that this particular RTM build is planned to reach partners by the end of this week as well, so it’s clear that Microsoft isn’t playing any games with its launch date. This RTM is a very different animal to previews Windows versions, given the nature of Windows 10 now being sold as a service that updates regularly. Whatever bugs users detect on new computers in the next few weeks should be easy and quick to patch by Microsoft.

Are you planning on buying a new computer with Windows 10 in the next few weeks, or are you only considering an upgrade? Make sure you let us know in the comments.
