Yes, Windows 10 Preview will include a phone recovery tool
There’s nothing hotter than to be given the chance to test the latest and greatest software before it reaches store shelves. That is, unless something goes wrong at some point of the installation, or the bugs are so unbearable that you’d prefer to remove the software from your device. The desktop version of Windows 10 Preview has proven to be reliable, even with the usual bugs that are to be expected, but there are some good news for those choosing to give it a try on phones.
Microsoft had unofficially mentioned that it would provide a phone recovery tool for those that give Windows 10 preview a try. This tool would allow users to downgrade to Windows Phone 8.1.1 in case something went wrong, or the experience was too cumbersome. This is a very cool idea for those who would like to give it a try for only a few days and switch back, and if you wanted an official confirmation, Microsoft’s Gabriel Aul has just made it official on his Twitter account.
@RoyHansen1 Yes, we’ll have a recovery tool to roll back for all phones that are supported for the preview.

At this point we’re still waiting to see if the chicken or the egg will be launched to the public first, but at least this will give you a a piece of mind if you’re interested in giving Windows 10 a try on your only current Windows Phone.
