It’s been more than a year since the nation’s largest bank deserted Windows Phone’s app ecosystem. Speculation went about on how this was in preparation for writing a Windows 10 app. While we can’t tie that speculation to Bank of America’s rumored comeback to the platform, we now have a supposed due date for when apps will hit screens large and small.

Based on a leak of an internal BoA website that Windows Central obtained, the universal app will be released on March 28. It’ll have the usual features a banking app should have in 2016 including bill paying, mobile deposit (a first for the platform) and transfer, loan and account balance checks and a branch and ATM locator. The app’s not intended for Xbox, but we’re sure Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile works just as well.

Another financial institution, American Express, deployed its universal Windows app late last year.
