With the HTC 10 so close we can nearly taste it (note: don’t actually taste your smartphones, people), HTC’s been dialing its promotional efforts up to 11, and this week alone we’ve had no shortage of official teasers to keep us busy. And while we absolutely love seeing all this stuff from HTC itself, it also has us feeling a little nostalgic for a time just a few weeks in our past, when HTC 10 rumors were dominated by unofficial leaks. Well, just because we’ve got a new HTC-produced video today is no reason to turn our backs on leaks, and this afternoon our attention’s been drawn to one of the latest, giving us an up-close look at the HTC 10 in white.
This image made it from Weibo to Western audiences thanks to a repost on Twitter, where the sharer noted that this image is supposed to represent final HTC 10 hardware. We don’t see a similar note on the original Weibo post, though (having run the accompanying message through a translation service), so we’re unsure exactly what to think about that. At the least, we don’t see any obvious indications of the unit being pre-production hardware: no internal markings or anything of that nature.
From what we’ve seen so far, the HTC 10 is expected to be available in a selection of four color options, including two like this with white faces. You can check out renders of all those color selections, or look at some of the other hands-on pics we’ve seen leak to get a closer look at how the phone’s back panel will differ between them.
