We’re not used to receiving new devices or announcements during mid-December. We also didn’t expect OnePlus to give us more than two devices this 2019, but both things have changed. OnePlus has given us regular and pro variants of their OnePlus 7 and the 7T, and Pete Lau has just told us to expect a surprise during January 2020.

We know that OnePlus has been busy giving us more smartphones, working on their new OnePlus TV, and maybe one more surprise. We have received rumors of an upcoming OnePlus 8 Lite, and CES 2020 may be the place to see if this device stops being a rumor and becomes something official. OnePlus’s CEO has just told us that they will show us something special in Vegas, and even though there’s no way to confirm what’s coming, we can at least hope to see a new device. If we were to receive a new OnePlus 8 Lite, we could very well get no less than five new devices from OnePlus during 2020.
