Video: Android Today Screen Widgets

One of the things I liked most about Windows Mobile was the “at-a-glance” Today screen. There, in one convenient place, was all of today’s relevant information: upcoming tasks, appointments, and frequently used programs.

When I made the switch to Android I was somewhat disappointed in Google’s “out-of-the-box” calendar widget. Luckily third-party developers have stepped up with some very helpful widgets.

In today’s video I’ll show you the Google Calendar icon, Google Calendar widget, the free Smooth Calendar widget, and a reasonably priced set of widgets called Pure Calendar. Making a cameo is the Beautiful Home widget by LevelUp Studios.
