Viber, the popular cross-platform instant messaging VoIP app, will soon be able to add even more users to its service by releasing a Windows Phone client, joining the offerings already available for Android and iOS. BlackBerry 10 support is also in the works, according to Talmon Marco, the CEO of Viber.

Marco said that the Windows Phone 8 client is in a final development stage; “we should have it real soon”, he added, while mentioning that all Windows Phone 8 devices will be supported. The goal for this year, as expressed by the CEO, is “more features, more platforms, more users, more languages, more releases”. On that exact note Viber for BB10 is already in development, however, there’s no exact timeframe on when it will be available.
