Verizon to Carry HTC Android Slider World Phone

While Verizon Wireless has carried Windows Mobile and BlackBerry world phones in the past, the carrier has not offered such an option for globe-trotting Android users until now. A leaked image of an HTC Android slider is said to support both GSM and CDMA radios, perfect for travelers so they can use Verizon’s EV-DO 3G in the states and hop on to HSPA abroad, with a Vodafone SIM–Vodafone is a joint owner in Verizon Wireless–and a keyboard slider in landscape orientation.

The device is also said to have a 4-inch display, similar in size to Samsung Galaxy S phones, as well as a 1.2 GHz dual-core CPU, presumably from Qualcomm as part of the Snapdragon line.
