In a week or so’s time, the Galaxy Nexus should be making its US debut, and we can finally stop letting all the rumors surrounding its release dominate our thoughts. For the moment, at least, we’re still very much under its spell, and have heard a compelling rumor that Verizon will break silence and start accepting pre-orders for the phone as of tomorrow.
After plenty of possible dates being floated, it’s now looking that a December 8 release date for the Verizon Galaxy Nexus is all but certain. That could easily change, should something come up, but all the latest rumors and leaks seem dead-focused on it. Today’s contribution also backs-up that December 8 date, while adding that pre-orders are to begin on November 29.
The source isn’t the most reliable, since it’s coming from a customer service rep rather than via official Verizon statement, but what we hear does ring true. The good news is that we won’t be wavering over this one for long, and should know if it’s fact or fiction by this time tomorrow. We’re still not sure at what price the phone will launch, but we’ve seen a leak painting it as low as $200 on-contract.
