If there’s one company that’s been commendable for quick updates as of late, it’s HTC (well, Motorola too, but that’s a different story). Even with a fairly-heavy Android skin – not that that’s a bad thing – it has managed to keep its flagships updated speedily. With the launch of the Desire EYE just weeks ago, One M8 owners were left hanging, longing for the new camera features. Slowly, updates have been released by HTC to bring One M8 owners up to speed, and now Verizon One M8 owners are about to feel the love: HTC exec Mo Versi has shared that the Verizon HTC One M8 EYE Experience update has received technical approval, and will most likely be rolling out tomorrow at noon.

We covered the EYE Experience software tricks, mainly centered around the camera app, in our in-depth hands-on with the HTC Desire EYE above New York City, so go check that out if you want a more comprehensive look at what to expect from the update. There are a handful of new camera modes, like Crop Me In, that you’ll be able to enjoy once you update to the latest version of the software.

Verizon One M8 owners, are you pumped?
