Another round of CDMA carriers in the US are starting the pre-sales period for the LG V20. It’s been an odd year for the autumn powerhouse phone series — last year, prices for the V10 ranged between $600 and $700. This time around, we found the lowest of the lows at Verizon ($672) and the tippy top of the mountain with AT&T ($830).
Sprint seems to be keeping in line with T-Mobile’s pricing near $799, taking just $7 off the price to $792 full retail — over two years, that’s $33 per month. Customers can also get up to $200 off with an eligible trade-in and a free pair of B&O Play H3 earbuds with their pre-order through October 28.
Weirdly enough, new customers can apparently also choose a two-year contract and pay $349.99 after mail-in rebate. We thought those were dead!
Over on US Cellular, it’s much more affordable $699.99 upfront (for new customers only). In terms of monthly installments, that can swing from $21.60 for 30 months or $32.40 for 20 months. In addition to the H3 kit, customers also get a $100 US Cellular gift card with a pre-order.
It’s not exactly clear when US Cellular will end pre-orders, but it will likely be within Sprint’s whereabouts.
