Try HTC Vive at more locations, have it ship within three business days

From our experiences with the HTC Vive VR headset, we suggest that you should definitely try before you buy. And if you want to wrap your head around an HTC Vive, — or, more appropriately, have one wrap around your head — you may not have to trek as far as you would have before.

HTC announced that more retail outlets will have Vive demonstration areas for you to play around in. The initial 29 Microsoft Stores that got setup a few months ago will now become 51. GameStop will soon have 40 stores with Vive instead of 10 while Micro Center will double its five locations. All of them should be ready from this week. Check out our source links for locations.

You can also order Vive kits directly from these stores. Prior pre-orders will be fulfilled starting this week while online-based orders will now only take between two and three business days to start shipping.
