2014 has been packed with a ton of positive changes that are driving the mobile industry forward. These changes include the adoption of 2K displays, 64-bit architecture in mobile processors, waterproof smartphones and tablets, the evolution of the smartwatch, among other things that we’re still waiting to see this fall. Most of these new products for the fall will be announced at IFA, in Berlin, and as our team prepares for an excruciating flight across the pond, let’s go through some of the things we expect to see.

For the last three years, Samsung has taken the spotlight with the continuous announcements of its Galaxy Note line-up, and last-year’s IFA also saw the birth of the Samsung Galaxy Gear. This year we’re expecting more companies to adopt wearables, in addition to making fitness tracking a priority as a way to make these wearables enticing for consumers.

There should also be a couple of surprises at IFA this year, but for now be sure to read our IFA rumor roundup, and also watch our Top 5 predictions for the event. Make sure you share your predictions in the comments down bellow.
