Tiger Lab is an Android app which lets you "play" Nintendo DS games on your Android-powered device. Well, sorta. Presently it's a proof-of-concept demo that the developer says will only be available for a limited time. If you want to try it, you'll want to get it fast (the link is below).
The developer has the following to say:
- VERY EARLY PROTOTYPE VERSION (BETA) FOR DEMO ONLY.
- It is very, very slow so you (should) not expect to play NDS game(s) with this emulator.
- It is used to (demonstrate) that NDS game(s) can be played on Android phone.
If you want to try it anyway, put your nds ROM files in a folder called /sdcard/roms/nds
. Zipped nds ROMs aren't supported, and the files must end in .nds
. The app should load the game and allow you to "play" it, though even high-end phones will be very, very slow. How slow? Let's just say that's why we put "play" in quotation marks.
If you give this one a try, make sure you let us know your experiences in the comments below!
