We all wished we lived in Japan when we saw the HTC J Butterfly, a five-incher recently unveiled with Full HD resolution. However, rumor had it that this phone will somehow get to Verizon as the HTC DIX we’ve recently seen, or the HTC DLX more recently. The image above and below are claimed to be snapped off of an upcoming Verizon HTC DLX (apparently pronounced “deluxe”).
According to the information attached to these pictures the DLX will pack a five-inch Full HD screen, a la J Butterfly, with a quad-core processor (believed to be the Snapdragon S4 Pro), aided by 2GB of RAM. Also in are 16GB of Internal Storage, eight- (or twelve, depending on the source) megapixel camera, 2,500mAh battery and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box. The phone believed to be Verizon’s first One family representative is also allegedly coming with dedicated buttons and LTE capabilities.
We are yet to hear anything official from Verizon but the images are rather telling.
