When the Moto X came out last year, many shamed it for not featuring high-end specs like the other flagships in town. While phones like the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 were rocking quad-core Snapdragon 600 processors, the Moto X was using an X8 Mobile Computing System based off of a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro. You’d think it’d be the same story here, when we round up the new Moto X specs, but these results are actually remarkably surprising – the next-gen Moto X features high-end internals about on par with close competition like the HTC One M8, so we’re excited to see where the combination of premium specs and a snappy OS can take this sucker in 2014.
