Still waiting for Android Nougat to happen? That August 5 security patch level update just not there yet? It won’t be for another weekend.

Canadian carrier Telus, interested in transparency, has updated its Software Update Schedule for devices and has just listed both the Nexus 6P and 5X for an Android Nougat update targeted for August 22.

Barring acts of God or something like that, we pretty much have an idea of when Google and its partners will start seeding out Android 7.0. The Nexus 6 and 9, it seems, may have to wait in limbo, though we expect it’ll be either close by or the very same day.
