The Xperia Tablet Z, when we reviewed it, was one of the best Android tablets to have ever entered our labs. And that certainly hasn’t changed in the last month and a half. It’s the full package – great specifications, a fairly impressive display, dust proof, water resistant, and, well … gorgeous.

That said, Samsung has been around the block. And it’s Galaxy tablets easily outperform every other Android tablet brand without breaking a sweat – on retail shelves, that is.

The latest slab to leave Samsung’s doors is the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, and it has a trick or two up its sleeve. For example, it’s not powered by Samsung’s own Exynos chip or a Qualcomm chip like practically every other Android tablet. Instead, it equips an Intel Atom chipset.
