Yesterday we caught wind of a rumor that T-Mobile would begin distributing the Windows Phone 7 NoDo update to HD7 users sometime today. Without any confirmation at the time, nor a particularly convincing source for the news, we really didn’t know what to think and just hoped for the best. Lucky for T-Mobile users, the rumor now appears verified, as the company has started making updates available to not only HD7 users, but Dell Venue Pro owners as well.

T-Mobile customers have reported getting both the February pre-NoDo WP7 update, as well as NoDo itself. We hadn’t heard of the possibility of the DVP also getting its updates today (though it shared the same “Scheduling” status as the HD7 on Microsoft’s update checker), but so far it seems that at least the pre-NoDo package is available; we haven’t gotten any confirmation yet of DVPs getting full-on NoDo.

These reports of successful updates are coming form users of stock, unmodified phones; you won’t need to flash any unbranded ROMs in order to get them installed.

AT&T users are still waiting for their own updates to the LG Quantum, Samsung Focus, and HTC Surround. As soon as we hear more about when to expect those, we’ll let you know.
