No pizza for you, next!”

After another T-Mobile Tuesdays struggle with Domino’s Pizza locations giving up the ghost on the free pizza offer, the carrier’s CEO, John Legere, took to both Twitter and Periscope to explain that pure volume has led to the freebie breakdown.

So, in place of a pie, you’ll get a free ride. This week’s special perk of a free $15 trip from Lyft will now be extended to next week. In addition, you can get a $20 credit at MLB.com, a small Frosty from Wendy’s and a VUDU movie rental, all for free.

Legere posted a Domino’s memo that thanked employees for dealing with the increased workloads from the free orders. Some stores got up to four times their typical traffic with the deal, which caused many customers to run into this error when redeeming their T-Mobile code.

We’re not sure how many of you absolutely need a taxi replacement midweek, but you can use that Lyft ride to go get yourself a pizza. Maybe from a place other than Domino’s.
