It’s another year and with the first of the major smartphone flagships in the pre-order stage, it’s always interesting to see when customers actually get their hands on them. In the US, the hot stuff is the LG G6 and we’ve had pre-orders start up at pretty much all the major carriers.

But as far as we know, only one carrier has delivered a unit to a customer. In fact, the Un-carrier has brought at least two of them to their intended recipients before the official April 7 date.

One customer tweeted out their G6 box from T-Mobile while another shared theirs on Reddit. In @AlienwareGamin5’s case, they placed the order about half an hour after the phone came up for dibs on March 22 and it shipped that night.

While manufacturers usually set sales/delivery dates for various regions, commercial partners will usually get stock in advance of that date for processing into the proper channels for stores and order distribution. T-Mobile’s gotten its stuff together to have been able to jump the gun on both Galaxy S7 and LG V20 due dates. Heck, the so-called “Dumb & Dumber” of US carriers, AT&T and Verizon, have gotten their share of sneaks in the past.

Unfortunately, we don’t get to see any of the perks that have accompanied the pre-order.
