T-Mobile LG G4 now down to $350 as G5 awaits

Having second thoughts on what to get? Do you really just need a cheap, capable phone? Well, if you’re a firm believer of the philosophy that last year’s top-tier phones are this year’s mid-rangers, you might just be satisfied right here.

T-Mobile has put the scissors to the price tag on the LG G4, now only charging $350 for a device that will be superseded by the LG G5 introduced at MWC in Barcelona. That’s better than a 40 percent cut from its original price and another $100 off from when the G4 was first discounted when the LG V10 was introduced to T-Mobile.

While you may not have a fingerprint sensor, a Snapdragon 820 or an extra camera lens as on the G5, the G4 does provide a quad HD screen powered by a very capable Snapdragon 808 and has what could arguably be a less fussy way to change batteries and microSD cards — Magic Slot or whatever they’re calling it, be damned. Oh yeah, there’s Android Marshmallow, too.

The phone’s only available with its Metallic Gray trim on the back, so you’ll need to search up some other covers to buy. And no, we don’t have a V10 discount to tell you about.
