T-Mobile Gives Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G a Release Date

It was just about two months ago when we first heard of the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G. T-Mobile formally announced the handset at the CES, which will be be compatible with high-speed 42Mbps HSPA+ data where available. More recently, we learned that the Blaze would arrive sometime in March, and then just last week T-Mobile put up a new page for the phone on its site, promoting it as coming soon. It was all pretty clear we were getting right down to the wire for the phone’s release, and now T-Mobile has made its plans official, tweeting out its release schedule for the Blaze 4G.

The Blaze 4G will first be available in select stores on March 21, followed by a nationwide release the following week, on March 28. Unfortunately, the carrier didn’t go into any further details on just where you might be able to find the phone early, but we suppose waiting until March 28 isn’t the end of the world.

While the 42Mbps data is clearly the phone’s selling point, the rest of the hardware sounds pretty decent, with a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon and a 3.97-inch Super AMOLED display. The Blaze 4G will sell for just about $150 with a two-year contract.
