HTC’s been doing a decent job keeping us informed of its work towards bringing Ice Cream Sandwich to owners of existing handsets. The company has announced which models are due to see updates headed their way, and we’ve already seen them start showing up for Sensation-line models. Of course, a manufacturer bringing Android 4.0 to one of its unlocked handsets is a very different thing from a carrier delivering such an update to its subscribers, so we’re always looking for that extra confirmation wherever we can get it. The latest comes from T-Mobile, updating the support docs for a couple phones to announce the coming arrival of Ice Cream Sandwich.

The HTC Sensation was among the manufacturer’s first Androids to update to ICS, so it’s no surprise that T-Mobile plans to bring the software to its own subscribers with the Sensation 4G. We’ve also seen the Amaze 4G on HTC’s official list of models in-line for ICS, and now T-Mobile is singing the same tune.

Unfortunately, the carrier doesn’t offer any ETAs for either of these updates, but promises to update its users once more information is available.
