Microsoft Surface Pro 3 specs and pricing leaked ahead of Tuesday announcement?

The rumored Microsoft Surface Mini — late or not to the game — is expected to be unveiled Tuesday at a New York City event. Apparently, according to the latest rumors, it might be accompanied by a Surface Pro 3 (instead of the Surface Pro 2 refresh we’ve been hearing about for quite some time). We’ve heard some vague specs of the “other” Surface tablets present at the event, but WPCentral claims to have knowledge of the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 specs.

According to the report, there will be five versions of the slate, with the following prices, and specs:
i3/4GB RAM/64GB at $799, i5/4GB RAM/128GB at $999, i5/8GB RAM/256GB at $1299, i7/8GB RAM/256GB at $1549, and i7/8GB RAM/512GB at $1949.

Accompanying the Surface Pro 3 slates enumerated above, there will also be new Type covers in black, purple, cyan, and red. The report also mentions a larger (around 12-inch-ish) form-factor, with smaller bezels, and a relocated Windows button (on the vertical/portrait orientation side, instead of the horizontal/landscape orientation side).

We’ll be there at the event to bring you all the details, as we’re expecting Microsoft to unveil at least a Surface Mini, and a Surface Pro 3.
