Sprint has taken a cannon to shooting out software updates recently, especially when compared to other US carriers. While HTC phones have been pretty tidy in terms of keeping up-to-date on the Android side, when carriers are put into the process, things tend to stew longer.

But the twain have come together for a day and things are okay.

HTC VP of Product Management Mo Versi tweeted that both the regular and harmon/kardon editions of the HTC One M8 are currently getting Android 6.0 OTAs.

The carrier is first in the US to make the update for HTC’s 2014 flagship. Versi went on to mention that AT&T units are slated for an Android Marshmallow update next week.

Meantime, the Sprint version of the One A9 is also beginning its journey to 6.0.1, just a month after the unlocked units made it. OTAs are ongoing, but you can flash the update right now at our Source link if you’re impatient. Keep in mind, it’ll take a complete data wipe to make the jump.

One M9-wise, Mo Versi also put Sprint’s update timeline at next week.
