Just like its predecessor (the Sony Xperia Z1), the Xperia Z2 also has contacts on its left side that allow the phone to be easily docked. While the Xperia Z1 was using the official DK31 magnetic dock, Xperia Z2 owners will need the new DK36 magnetic dock for their phones. While the device itself will not reach retailer shelves until the beginning of April, the dock can be now ordered in the UK.

The Sony Xperia Z2 DK36 magnetic dock goes for £29.16 (£34.99, including VAT), which translates to roughly $50, and allows you to not only charge the phone in a convenient way, but also prop it up in a landscape angle, allowing you to enjoy multimedia content. Additionally, it comes with two adapters for using it while the Xperia Z2 phone is equipped with a cover (or not).
