We’re still a tad disappointed with the rumors that Sony won’t be announcing the Xperia Z4 at MWC 2015. There’s a lot of fierce competition from Samsung and HTC coming to this event, and it would only make sense for Sony to try to steal some thunder as well. On the contrary, we’ve seen Sony focus a little more on midrange devices, and today we get another one.

Sony has just made its new Xperia E4g mid-ranger official today. In a nutshell, this is pretty much the same Sony Xperia E4 that was announced a few days ago, but with the added kick of 4G LTE connectivity. Other differences include the support for NFC connectivity, something missing from the Xperia E4, and we also get a slightly faster processor at 1.5 GHz when compared to the 1.3 GHz quad-core processor on the original. Sony also confirms that there is a dual-SIM variant for those interested, and the base price for a launch in Spring will be of €129.

Not necessarily the hottest smartphone for its price rage when compared to devices like the Moto G, but at least Sony keeps competition coming.
