Sony’s Lens Camera, that was recently leaked, should bring additional imaging capabilities to smartphones. Though the details are scarce at the moment, everything should be clear on September 4, when Sony will have its pre-IFA event and announce the accessory alongside the Honami (and possibly the Honami Mini).

Until then, there are a couple of more rumors and leaks to hang on to. The image above represents the accessory in a new color, this time, with gold and white, and the name of the devices will apparently be a combination between “smartphone” and “cybershot”, for a final “Smart Shot” name. Lens stabilization is also mentioned in the report and it will apparently be compatible with all Android and iOS devices. We’ll definitely be there and excited to check it out while in Berlin, so stay tuned for our first impressions.
