Sony Ericsson Azusa Shows Up On NenaMark

NenaMark1, an Android benchmark for hardware accelerated graphics that gave us initial hints about the Motorola Droid X2 for Verizon, is now listing a certain Sony Ericsson Azusa smartphone.

From the information listed on the website we understand the model name is Azusa of the manufacturer SEMC (Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications). It is running Google Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread, has a screen with an FWVGA (480 x 854) resolution and it’s powered by a Qualcomm Adreno 205 GPU — a la Sony Ericsson Xperia Play — and thus most probably featuring a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU.

The benchmark results returned scores of 45.20(min, avg and max) which is pretty much on par with the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, leading us into thinking the Azusa could or could not actually the Xperia Acro for Japan (basically the domestic Xperia Arc), sporting a Qualcomm model MSM8255 CPU.
