Got a Sony Xperia arc S, Xperia S, Xperia SL, Xperia ion, Xperia acro S, Xperia go, Xperia P, Xperia J, Xperia miro, Xperia sola, Xperia tipo, or Xperia U? You’ll be sad to find out that Sony is apparently preparing to no longer offer support for these models, some of which, while not the most recent ones, still have a tad to go until they reach a two-year-old venerable age.

The good folks over at Xperia Blog took their time is flipping through the support pages for the above mentioned devices, gathering all of them together in the list you see above. If you want to check the status for Sony’s support regarding your own phone, you should head over to the official Support Page and check the info yourself.

As per no longer offering support for these phones, it is time to turn to the community (if you haven’t already), or go for an Xperia Z1. You can also participate in our ongoing give-away and maybe Lady Luck will be on your side to win a Nexus 5.
