Whether you’re about to drown your sorrows with exercise or jubilant to the point of being scared of yourself, Songza used to have the right playlist for you. Then it got bought by Google. The Songza team’s R&D slowly moved its efforts to the Play Music service, a service that’s gotten more and more competitive against the likes of Pandora and Spotify.

Now, Songza is ready to finally become one with Google Play Music. The app and website will shut down on January 31, 2016. Both will mediums will soon start offering migration tools for users to move playlists and even browsing history over to Play Music.

“There’s no crying in music streaming!” After all, it’s a free move and everything great about Songza’s already over on Play Music.
