Snapdragon in Action: Acer neoTouch S200 Software Tour

In this video (after the jump) we take you through a tour of the software on the Acer neoTouch S200. Overall, the software on the S200 is quite minimal: there are few added programs, the home screen is just a simple program launcher, and there isn’t much modification to the core of Windows Mobile. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as this lack of added software plus the 1GHz Snapdragon CPU makes the device feel extremely snappy (no pun intended) in daily operation…

Snappy performance aside, we’re finding numerous bugs along the way, causing the device to act strangely at times. More on that later.

Coming in the full review we’ll cover speed benchmarks, battery life, video performance, plus more. Look for some upcoming videos showcasing the Snapdragon performance against other devices and doing a bit of 3D gaming. In case you missed it, check out our unboxing and hardware tour of the neoTouch S200.
