Alongside the ATIV S Windows Phone, Samsung also unveiled the ATIV and ATIV Pro SmartPCs at this year’s IFA, given we had the chance to play with both slates unlike the phone which was (and still is) nowhere to be seen. The South Korean manufacturer unveiled some pricing details regarding its Windows line-up; out of all devices we’re interested in the two slates: the ATIV Smart PC 500T will go for $750 with the keyboard and $650 sans physical input while the ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T will cost $1,200.

Those who need a reminder about the specs: the ATIV SmartPC features a 1.5GHz dual-core Intel Atom CPU, 2GB of RAM and a 10.1-inch 1366×768 display, all powered by a 8,200mAh battery, and NFC-capability. The ATIV SmartPC Pro is running on Windows 8 with your choice of either an Intel i5 or i3 IvyBridge CPUs. It has integrated Intel HD 4000 Graphics, and offers 4GB of DDR3 memory. At 11.6 inches, the display is a full 1080p panel with 400nits of brightness. It’s also capable of doing cellular data and offers full-day battery life.

Samsung is yet to unveil pricing for a slate running Windows RT but is expected to do so soon, at a price point believed to be lower than the cheapest Smart PC. What do you think about these prices?
