BlackBerry’s not the only company around looking to take advantage of the millions of football fans who will be tuning in to this Sunday’s Super Bowl game, and Samsung, fresh off a fantastic year of smartphone sales (and therefore, with more than enough cash to spring on a Super Bowl spot), has its own two-minute ad queued-up to air during the game. While that’s still a couple days away, Samsung has released a little teaser to whet our appetites.

Comedy heavyweights Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen, and Bob Odenkirk star in the short, where Odenkirk plays the role of a Samsung exec prepping the actors for the company’s commercial. Perhaps poking a little fun at Samsung’s ongoing legal issues with its smartphone and tablet business, Odenkirk’s trying to avoid another lawsuit, and coaches Rudd and Rogen on how to keep from infringing on the NFL’s trademarks.

We don’t expect the ad to feature any surprise new hardware, and instead feature some of the company’s already-available devices, but it should still be fun to check out; after all, aren’t commercials half the reason for watching the Super Bowl in the first place?
