Samsung Revises Smartphone Sale Estimates, Foresees Growth

HTC has recently revised its fourth quarter revenue forecast and the Taiwanese company admitted that it will see no growth. On the contrary, Samsung has revised its smartphone sale estimates to predict even further growth.

“We are pinning high hopes <...> on achieving sales higher than our previous plan”, said a spokesman for the Korean manufacturer. With the Samsung Galaxy S II selling very well, the Google Galaxy Nexus enjoying great reception and the Galaxy Note being so disgustingly attractive, Samsung is forecasting even higher numbers. Third quarter results for the manufacturer were very good; without giving out exact numbers of Galaxy S II units delivered, they mentioned that the phone shipped in excess of 20 million.
