Samsung Galaxy View pricing, release info starts arriving
Following months of rumors and weeks since Samsung first teased the tablet, yesterday saw the introduction of the 18.4-inch Galaxy View. With its big screen and two-way stand, the tablet seemed destined to turn a lot of heads, but before it could start doing that it would have to actually arrive – and news of the Galaxy View’s launch didn’t arrive with any details about pricing or availability. Today those specifics start falling into place, as we hear about plans for early November sales.
The Galaxy View is set to come out on November 6, or just over a week from today. When the tablet lands, you’ll be able to score its WiFi-only 32GB configuration for just about $600 – a price we already heard rumored.
We haven’t yet seen confirmation on pricing for the 64GB Galaxy View, nor the LTE-equipped version, but we’re presumably looking at the $650-$750 range for those other options. It’s also not yet clear if those will similarly be available in the first week of November, or if they could follow at a later date.
As you may recall, we’ve already seen FCC documents that reveal AT&T branding on the tablet, so we may want to start looking to the carrier for news of how the LTE-connected Galaxy View will land.
