Samsung hasn’t really taken over the tablet space with its offerings, but it does hold a solid second place, and with Apple’s recent slump in tablet sales, there’s no better time for Samsung to bring some more competition. We’ve gotta hand it to Samsung for continuing to believe in the Android tablet space at a time when the whole market is struggling, and this Galaxy Tab S2 is actually one of the better looking Android Tablets I’ve given a try in a very long time.

The Galaxy Tab S2 is actually a combination of two tablets, an 8-inch variant and a 9.7-inch variant, both sporting a Super AMOLED QXGA display, and an interesting 4×3 aspect ratio compared to Samsung’s previous focus on 16:9. Both tablets are powered by an Exynos 5433 octa core processor, 3GB of RAM, options for 32 and 64GB of storage, and expandability up to 128GB via microSD. Both models also rock an 8 megapixel camera at the back with f1.9 apeture, and the selfie camera is set at 2.1 megapixels. There are also LTE connectivity options on both, and yes, both run Android 5.0 Lollipop. Really their only difference is obviously the size, and the fact that the 9.7-inch model sports a larger 5870 mAh battery when compared to the 4,000 mAh battery on the 8-inch model.
