Remember the Samsung Galaxy Round, that (almost “what the…“) phone that has a curved display … from side to side? It is indeed an industry first, but your chances of getting one are very thin, if a recent report is to be believed. Not sure of why you would want one, but apparently, they are limited in numbers.

Samsung, according to unnamed sources, is producing a small batch of these curved display phones — even in its home country — and treats the model like a prototype, according to the same report. The report says that the high price of the device now makes sense, considering this “prototype”-perception. We’re, after all, looking at a Note 3 without the S-Pen, but with a quadriceps-embracing curve for when you pocket it.
