Samsung Galaxy Note On Its Way To Sprint?

After launching in Europe back in November, Samsung’s Galaxy Note is nearly ready to make its State-side debut. It’s seen some solid sales so far, despite its unusual size, falling somewhere in-between the biggest smartphones and smallest tablets. In preparation for its arrival in the US, we spotted the Note undergoing the knife in order to swap-out its physical home button for a lineup of capacitive elements, and then finally decked-out in the AT&T badging the Android will wear as it joins the carrier’s lineup. That’s all we’d heard about plans for the Note in the US, but could another carrier also have its eye on the jumbo-sized hardware? A new rumor out today suggests that Sprint will also be adding the Note to its stable.

SprintFeed cites a “proven source” as providing this information. According to this individual, Sprint may be planning to reveal its role in the Note’s American launch at this year’s CES. Besides the fact that the carrier intends to carry the Note, the source had few details to share on just how the Android would arrive. For instance, there’s no word on whether or not we could hope to see a Sprint Note outfitted with a WiMAX radio. Knowing Sprint, we’d say it sounds likely, but for the moment it’s just another unconfirmed aspect to this story.
